יעל שרר היא מייסדת הלובי למלחמה באלימות מינית, במאית דוקומנטרית ומנחת הפודקאסט "הרשות המבצעת". על פועלה השיאה משואה ביום העצמאות ה74 וזכתה בפרס דרור ובפרס רפפורט. האנשים של הקוג'ון הוא ספרה השני.
